The Post in Which Alderman Ed Bus Officially Announces His Bid to Become Mayor of the City of Chicago.

Posted by admin in Vote!

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: For all those who read the blog, for those of you who follow the RSS Feed, for those of you that have read about this in Google Buzz™, and for anyone still using GoodReads™ – I am here to officially announce that after days, weeks and hours of mental struggle and anguish, Alderman Ed Bus has decided to run for Mayor of the City of Chicago.

It was a tough decision, one that puts him, his family, and his intern in the spotlight of the public with the terrible rains of the Sun-Times, the Pioneer Press and Hoy! raining down, going through every nook and cranny of every secret that Alderman Bus has attempted to hide over the last 40-45 years. Not that there are any secrets. But if there were, they might be exposed. And that would hurt any chance he had of winning, or even competing in this election.

I would like to think that I had a hand in helping him make this decision, as I am always at his right-hand side, conferring with him over matters of the Ward, and life. You might say, I’m like a life-partner to Alderman Bus, in that, I am there in his life, and partner to him in politics.

I’m on the Bus, bigtime. Actually, I think Ed’s brother-in-law, Mike Zymyminsky, works on the HIll. Maybe if case or two of Cutty fell off the back of the truck for Mike in DC, things would go well for Ed? Just sayin’.
